We are looking for a full time Program Coordinator to join our Day Services team!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay Rate: $20.00 hourly

Job Summary: Provides supervision, opportunities, and skill development to persons served by the Northeast Arc in their community-based day and work supports program. Provides direction and training to assigned program case managers.

Major Responsibilities:

•Provides direction and training to program case managers.
•Ensures that Program Case Managers are completing daily responsibilities.
•Maintains communication with other Program Coordinators and apprises Program Director as changes occur.
•Assists with maintaining staff ratios across the program.
•Provides assigned caseload oversight by attending scheduled meetings, maintaining regular and professional contact with the participant’s team, completing all required documentation, and ensuring the participant’s progress in program as determined by his or her goals.
•Maintains regular communication with program case managers regarding transportation, funding agency, families and residential providers.
•Creates individual goals to reflect the participant’s vision in regards to skill development.
•Completes all necessary assessments and required paperwork for the participant’s annual support meeting in HCSIS.
•Provides oversight and plans daily schedules.
•Develops meaningful and cost-effective activities for the program and empowers program case managers to initiate similar types of programming..
•Provides transportation to persons served in personal vehicle or agency vehicle when one is available.

Qualifications:

  • B.A., B.S. in psychology or related field preferred or one to two years’ experience working with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adults or other related experiences
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Effective communicator in both person and writing.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
